One of the most important greenhouse gases is carbon dioxide. The more carbon dioxide in our atmosphere the warmer our planet gets. Carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, is a form of air pollution. Some scientists think that if we continue to pollute our air the Earth could eventually become too warm for many plants and animals to live here!
