This multimedia unit addresses one of today's most important environmental concerns, water quality, and will help you better understand key issues and the behaviors that can help make a difference.

It's important to examine watersheds and how we can help to protect them, particularly from polluted runoff. Scientists, water quality experts, and everyday citizens can all play a part in managing water quality.

Click the graphic on the right to launch Before the Flood, an interactive puzzle that lets you piece together events surrounding a flood. It gives you information on water quality and flood safety. In each level you'll have to watch carefully to figure out the order in which events happened. Are you up to the task?
